May 9th 2014 From the Skagway Newspaper Borough Digest Section. An excerpt from the article: “Garden City Market gets the go-ahead on signs”
“…Annemarie Hasskamp sells her Glacial Naturals line of home, bath, and body products that she makes from organic, fair trade, and local ingredients at the Garden City Market and has been working with several municipal committees to create this ordinance [temporary use of signs and tents in the Historic District] along with other members of the Garden City Market Committee. Hasskamp thanked the assembly for allowing the committee to work closely with the municipality and the Historic District Commission to create the code. ‘We’re looking forward to this actually happening so we can continue to support the community we love.'”
